From the 1st flower picked to the effortless looking pendant, comes all of the stages in between. Each petal, bud or leaf needs to be preserved through a process of drying and or pressing.

Then comes the fun part... Petals, leaves, and other embellishments are to be carefully oriented into a single small jewelry piece. The base structure comes from a silicon mold or frame to hold in the resin. Individual petals may also be carefully coated with resin, while using a toothpick and no base. UV resin cures under UV lamp but requires several layers to get the desired effect. Resin can remain clear or coloured with powders. Additions such as metallic foil, glass, stones, pearls, and textiles are often incorporated into my designs. Voila, the masterpiece is done! Now it's time to add any findings, attach the chain, or ear backings.
