How is your resin jewelry made?

Each piece is made in layers with a base such as a mold or frame, filled with dried flowers & other embelishments, then preserved in UV resin. My organic petal collection has no base. Resin must be carefully brushed on, layer by layer in this delicate process. Visit my about page to learn more about my process.

Are your pieces truly one-of-a-kind?

Yes! Every Resinbliss piece is completly unique and individually handcrafted. Since I use real flowers and leaves, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. The natural variations in shape, colour, and placement make each jewelry item one-of-a-kind. Even if I create a similar design, the organic materials ensure that every piece has its own special beauty.

How do I take care of my resin jewelry?

Store your jewelry out of direct sunlight and high heat. A jewelry box is perfect for safe storage. Take off your jewelry before bathing, swimming, or engaging in any water-based activities. To remove residue, clean with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid exposure to harsh chemical agents.

Is resin jewelry waterproof?

Resin jewelry is water resistant, not waterproof. You should remove it before showering, swimming, washing up, or doing any other water-based activity.

Will my resin jewelry yellow or change color over time?

I use high quality UV resin, designed for clarity and durability. While all resins can potentially yellow over time due to exposure to UV light, I take steps to minimize this by using UV-resisitant resin and proper curing tequniques.

To keep your jewelry looking its best, store away from direct sunlight when not in use.

How do I send dried flowers for a custom jewelry order?

This information is for shipping flowers: Contact me if you wish to drop off fresh or dried flowers in person.

Make sure your flowers are fully dried – Flowers should be completely dry to prevent mold. Silica-dried or pressed flowers work best.

Pressed Flowers Instructions:

  • Protect pressed flowers in layers – Place them between two sheets of parchment paper (or wax paper) to prevent sticking or static.
  • Add structure with cardstock – Sandwich the parchment-covered flowers between two pieces of cardstock to keep them flat.
  • Use a ziplock bag – Place the entire package into a ziplock bag to protect against moisture and accidental spills.
  • Package in a rigid mailer or box – A padded envelope or small box will help prevent crushing.

Non-Pressed Dried Flowers Instructions:

  • Use a small, breathable container – Instead of pressing them flat, place the flowers loosely in a paper envelope or a small cotton or organza bag to allow airflow. Avoid sealing them in plastic for long periods, as trapped moisture can cause issues.
  • Cushion in a sturdy box – Use a small rigid box with tissue paper, crinkle paper, or bubble wrap to prevent the flowers from shifting or getting crushed.

Label as fragile – Mark the package as "FRAGILE" or "HANDLE WITH CARE" so it’s treated gently.

Add a note with your name, order number, and any special requests.

Is your resin eco-friendly?

I use UV resin, which isn't biodegradable but produces less waste than traditional resins, since it cures quickly and doesn't require mixing. I also minimize waste by using real flowers and creating long-lasting jewelry meant to be treasured.

How do you source your flowers?

I carefully glow many of the flowers in my own garden, hand pick some on nature walks, and cultivate a small amount hydroponically. I also source select pressed flowers online. By growing and gathering my own materials whenever possible, I reduce waste and ensure ethical, sustainable sourcing. My jewelry preserves nature's beauty in a lasting way, preventing flowers from being discarded and giving them new life.
